The Studio Dancers Win at Miss Colorado

The Studio's dancers Rylee and Sarah competed in the Miss Colorado Pre-teen Pageant last weekend. Rylee competed for the Miss Colorado Outstanding Sweetheart title and Sarah competed for the Miss Colorado Outstanding Pre-teen title. Both girls competed in the areas of interview, sportswear, evening gown and lastly talent. Rylee won the title and Sarah was first runner up in their respective divisions. Above and beyond their division titles Sarah got an award for the best interview and Rylee for best personality. Rylee was also featured on the program book as the cover girl. Both girls did an amazing job!!!

Music:
The Music Recital will be January 24, 2009 in the afternoon at Loveland Bible Church. Please discuss with your teacher what piece you would like to perform. A participation sheet must be turned in to the front desk by December 12. All recitals are optional.

2008/2009 Dance Recitals @ The Studio

Dance Recital:
The Dance recital will be a little different this year due to the growing class sizes! We have over 80 classes each week so our recital would be over 4 hours long if each class performed in one recital. We have decided the best way for everyone to enjoy the performance is to have 3 separate recitals, each no more than 90 minutes long.

When and Where
The recital will be on June 5th and 6th at the Roberta Price Civic Auditorium at Thompson Valley High School, in Loveland. This will include a Friday evening performance, a Saturday matinee and a Saturday evening performance. We will let you know in March or April what classes will be performing in each recital.

Stress Free Dress Rehearsals
The last week of classes (June 1-5) will be held at the Theater as a Dress rehearsal. Your student will arrive in Full Costume and Make-up and rehearse their piece on stage then have their class and indivual picture taken off stage before or after their rehearsal. Dates for class rehearsal will be given to you in May.

Fees and Dates
Costume Fee: $55 per costume.
Costume Fee Deadline: November 18
